We support the following organisations:
Far South Peninsula Community Forum

This is an umbrella group for all civic organisations, such as ourselves, from us south and westwards. We discuss items of common interest and concern to all. We may try to influence local politicians, but do not play a part in party politics.
Greater Cape Town Civic Alliance

This is an even larger umbrella group of all civics in the greater City of Cape Town area.

False Bay Hospital - local district hospital serving the needs of our community needs to buy essential equipment such as X-ray machine, Phacomachine (cataracts), defibrillator, blood warmers, ventilators, paediatric cots, trolleys, blankets

The Net - a local organisation trying to provide services to the Valley's street people

Philip Katz - guerilla gardener who recently revitalised the entrance area to our beach

After each quarterly general meeting (QGM), representatives from the Girl Guides serve the tea / coffee and biscuits (cookies). We pay a small stipend for this value added service.

This is more a partnership in that
we share our large projector
screen and shared expenses for
purchasing a roaming microphone in turn for the use of their projector and public address system plus the services of at least one of their local principals to assist at our QGMs.

We also pay for the services of a car guard to watch over our vehicles during QGMs.
Previously Supported:

This is a Christian non-profit organisation situated near Masiphumelele that is able to help those most in need after fire devastates their homes.
Riverine Rovers - Lower Silvermine River Wetlands

This group of dedicated volunteers clears the alien vegetation in the Lower Silvermine River Wetlands and maintains the wheelchair access trails on either side. This is an important overflow area that helps control flooding in this area when we do have proper rains.
