This is an umbrella group for all civic organisations, such as ourselves, from us south and westwards. We discuss items of common interest and concern to all. We may try to influence local politicians, but do not play a part in party politics. 

Greater Cape Town Civic Alliance

Grater Cape Town Civic Alliance

This is an even larger umbrella group of all civics in the greater City of Cape Town area.

Girl Guides South Africa

After each quarterly general meeting (QGM), representatives from the Girl Guides serve the tea / coffee and biscuits (cookies). We pay a small stipend for this value added service.

U3A University of the Third Age False Bay

This is more a partnership in that

we share our large projector

screen and shared expenses for

purchasing a roaming microphone in turn for the use of their projector and public address system plus the services of at least one of their local principals to assist at our QGMs.

Fish Hoek Car Guard

We also pay for the services of a car guard to watch over our vehicles during QGMs.

This is a Christian non-profit organisation situated near Masiphumelele that is able to help those most in need after fire devastates their homes.

Riverine Rovers - Lower Silvermine River Wetlands

Lower Silvrmine River Wetlands Riverine Rovers

This group of dedicated volunteers clears the alien vegetation in the Lower Silvermine River Wetlands and maintains the wheelchair access trails on either side. This is an important overflow area that helps control flooding in this area when we do have proper rains.
